Mistakes 1 to 4: files and colour

These four concern the file, not the design:

• Logo supplied only as PNG or JPG instead of a vector file
• Colours built in RGB and converted unchecked
• Fonts not converted to outlines
• Low-resolution images taken from presentations

Mistakes 5 to 8: layout and readability

These four only show on the finished sample:

• Key content too close to the top or bottom rim
• Type too small for a curved surface
• Logo placed only once – invisible from two directions
• QR code on a busy background or without contrast

A five-minute approval check

Print the artwork on A4, roll it into a cylinder and stand it on a table. From two metres away you immediately see whether logo and message carry. This simple test finds more problems than any screen review.
